RNB’s total sales in proprietary stores in August 2013 amounted to SEK 197.5 M, compared with SEK 203.1 M in the corresponding month a year earlier, which is a decrease of 2.8%. In local currencies the decrease was 3.1%.
The 2012 sales number includes SEK 6.9 M of sales from the, as of June 2013, divested Kosta Outlet Mode AB.
Sales in comparable stores in Sweden in August 2013 decreased by 2.8% compared with the corresponding month in the preceding year. According to the so-called Blixtindex issued by the Swedish Trade Federation (Svensk Handel), Swedish clothing sales in comparable stores decreased by 1.8 % in August. Total sales in local currencies in comparable stores in all countries decreased by 2.7%.
The number of proprietary stores amounted to 240 at August 31, 2013, compared with 228 a year earlier.
Turnover in proprietary stores for fiscal year 2011/2012 amounted to approx. 80% of total annual net sales.
