RNB's total sales in proprietary stores in Mars 2011 amounted to SEK 208.9 M, compared with SEK 221.1 M in the corresponding month a year earlier, divested operations at Steen & Ström in Oslo excluded, which is an decrease of 5.5%. In local currencies the decrease was 4.4%. Including divested operations the sales decreased with 9.5% and measured in local currencies with 8.2%. Sales in comparable stores in Sweden in Mars 2011 decreased by 4.8% compared with the corresponding month in the preceding year. Total sales in local currencies in comparable stores in all countries decreased by 3.7%. The calendar effect in Mars for the retail clothing sector in Sweden compared with the corresponding month in the preceding year is according to the Swedish retail statistics agency, HUI, positive 0.2%. The number of proprietary stores amounted to 219 at Mars 31, 2011, compared with 238 a year earlier (excl. divested operations 222 stores).
